Dunkin' Donuts vs Starbucks

Today our pastor Troy made us make a comparison between two popular coffee places, Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks, what a great experience! They have many things in common but at the same time they're so different in many ways. Now...I'm not a coffee drinker myself but yet I spend time and money at these places because I like the experience.

Over all Dunkin' Donuts is a great place, it is more family friendly than starbucks, the menu is bigger, they're products are affordable, etc...some negative things about it is the fact that they don't pay much attention to details, customer service is not that great, the environment is poor and is not relaxing.

Starbucks on the other hand is a very interesting place because even though is pricey people enjoy been there, why???? because it makes them feel smarter! Do you agree? ... the environment, products, even the colors, everything is meant to make you feel very intellectual. If you ever need to organize your thoughts, read a book, come up with brilliant ideas, solve a problem, etc...Starbucks is the place to be at.

Dead iphone - Inspiration - New iphone

The iphone has been my favorite gadget since I got into electronic toys, not only because is so cool and trendy but because it's a great work tool, you have everything you need in one single device but the bad part is that I do not like any protective case made for it, the iPhone is so beautiful and cool that covering it with a case is like taking it down to an inferior level of beauty, so I decided to carry it around without any case at all. As a result it got really messed up because it seemed like my iphone liked the whole "Free Fall Experience" and after many accidents it finally died. I have to say though that the iPhone is more resistant than I thought, it really took several horrible drops to get ruined and I though that Apple would never give me a replacement because the damage had been completely my fault and I had already set my mind to buy a new one without even bothering to try appealing to Apple's warranty but around the same days I happen to read Heather Palacios' blog and she had just published a post about how great her Apple's customer support experience was, she got a new iphone at no charge even though the damage had been all her fault! I got inspired by that and setup and appointment at the Apple store and it took about 3 minutes before the "Mac Genius" handed me a brand new iPhone!!! I saved more than $400 thanks to Heather Palacios and the power of blogging.
